Here are the April 2026 releases I'm most excited about:
Darwin's Paradox! — April 2
An action-adventure platformer from Konami featuring creative gameplay mechanics inspired by evolution. Out on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Mouse: P.I. For Hire — April 16 (Free Demo Available)
A 1930s cartoon-inspired FPS where you play as a private investigator mouse. The noir aesthetic combined with classic rubber hose animation style looks fantastic. Available on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Pragmata — April 17 (Free Demo Available)
Capcom's mysterious sci-fi action-adventure set on a dystopian Earth and the Moon. This game has been in development for years and it's exciting to see it finally getting a release date. Coming to PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Saros — April 30
Housemarque's next title after the critically acclaimed Returnal. As a PS5 exclusive from Sony Interactive Entertainment, expectations are high.
Invincible VS — April 30
A new fighting game with a unique art style and deep mechanics, this is one to watch. Available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
What I'm Playing
- Super Meat Boy 3D — Although it was released on March 31st, I wanted to include it in the April roundup. The level design is as challenging and rewarding as ever.
